Special Operations Command is not the part of Starfleet that most people see. In fact they are the part of Starfleet that most beings in the galaxy hope they never have to see. This collection of rough and ready specialists are the go to group when it absolutely has to be captured, infiltrated, destroyed, or recovered overnight. Such a group is made up of all sorts of personnel, with all manners of specialties. Surveillance to demolition, rescue to capture this is where the serious action is.
